Fun, Hobby and Personal Enrichment

UCC believes lifelong learning enriches your life physically, mentally and emotionally. Community Education activities help you explore your passion, gain new skills, meet others, and spend time with friends or family.

Activities are delivered in a variety of formats: full-term, 1 to 4 weeks, or one day workshops and events. From art to yoga or woodworking to first aid, Community Education staff members strive to be responsive to the ever-changing needs of patrons throughout the district.

We offer classes and workshops in the following areas:

Dance
Safety
Driver Education
Personal Enrichment
Youth and Family
Discovery Activities for school aged Children
Matrix Classes for Teens
Parent Education

Conference on Extraordinary Living – Each September Umpqua Community
College hosts a one-day conference full of speakers and workshops for those preparing for or in retirement. Conference sessions include legal, health and leisure topics for people in the “second half” of life.
