Limited Maintenance Electrician

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Maintain & repair equipment for:
Electrical support for repair and replacement
HVAC control systems
Physical plant operations
Custodial support services
Instructional support services
Duties these may require:
Do preventative maintenance on electrical panels, cabinets, boxes etc.
Dress panels and diagram control systems.
Organize as-built prints and keep updated.
Assist HVAC technician with control system wiring.
Perform general construction and building maintenance work such as concrete patching, commercial or industrial painting, graffiti removal, fixtures/door hardware repair or replacement, light bulbs replacement and related jobs as needed. Performs cleaning services during and / or after remodeling projects.
May perform minor plumbing maintenance and repair. This could include irrigation for fire systems or lawn and landscape.
Maintains a working knowledge of the campus fire alarm system and college wide emergency plans. Assists in any emergency situation as previous plans and common sense dictates.
Perform various housekeeping duties such as moving furniture and equipment, and setting up rooms.
Assists in installing all campus informational signs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
One to three years of related work experience.
Current Oregon Electrical License (LME or higher as it pertains to high voltage)
Current Oregon Drivers License
SALARY:$27,321-$42,560 per year, Full-Time 2008-09 Classified Salary Schedule, Grade 25, Step 1
