EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Plans, prepares and implements, a Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum in accordance with the Ford Family Centers philosophy and policies.
Design a pre-school program that meets the individual needs of children with regard for their special interests, handicaps, talents, age and abilities, individual style and pace of learning.
Guide children in a manner consistent with center policies and in a manner which enhances the children's development.
Assist children in acquiring self-help skills, including toileting, eating, dressing, napping, etc.
Use appropriate health and sanitation techniques; supervise others in maintaining standards.
Assist and supervise Early Childhood Education Students in their practicum assignments and responsibilities.
Conduct parent conferences.
Maintain the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor and learning environment of UCC's Child Care Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
AA or AAS degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or equivalent required.
Current registration in the Oregon Child Care Division's Criminal History Registry.
CPR/First Aide and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
SALARY:
$17,676 per year, Full-Time Classified Salary Schedule, Grade 19, Step 1
