Sarah is a sophomore set to graduate with her transfer degree in 2014. She will then transfer to a four-year university (she is deciding between OSU and UO) where she will be pursuing a degree in anthropology. Sarah was home-schooled before she attended Umpqua Community College, and was very involved with 4-H, both locally and statewide. She is involved in the ASTRA club at UCC as well as the Student Leadership Team.
I am looking to make a difference by representing the students at UCC and advocating for them at state meetings in Salem to congress as well as presenting their concerns to the ASUCC student leadership.
I returned to school for the Toyota T Ten program to seek higher learning and Automotive excellence.
Hey all my name is Shane Rinehart I'm a second year business major and plan to attend UofO next year. I'm outgoing and all over the place here on campus. I'm looking forward to a busy fun filled year here at UCC! Stop by my office in the student center if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat.
I am a pre-nursing student and your ASUCC Activities Officer. I’m married and have two kids who are in school. Like many of you, I try keeping healthy balance between the rhythms and the quality of life. I believe that community and relationships in which we engage shape us significantly. This is why I’m inspired to facilitate all kinds of activities for you and by you, hoping that you’ll leave UCC not only with certificates and diplomas, but also with bright memories, life long connections, and friends.
I am working on my AAOT degree and am planning on transferring to the University of Oregon next school year with a major in Anthropology. Before coming to UCC I ran a small computer repair shop on Harvard. I'm currently the web editor for the Mainstream (UCC's student newspaper), a member of the debate club, and a tutor for TOP and in the ESB tutoring lab. In my free time (what's that??) I like to play video games (currently playing Borderlands 2 and Minecraft), read (mostly Science Fiction or Fantasy novels) and watch Star Trek with my boyfriend.

I am the youngest of five. I love cooking, being outdoors and taking crazy pictures. I haven't decided what I want to do yet! I chose to become a senator in order to represent the student body and help our college become a better place.
