Student ambassadors represent Umpqua Community College to prospective students, current students, faculty and staff, community members and guests at the institution. Student ambassadors are first point of contact, are well informed about campus and able to provide direction and assistance as needed. Applicants must be a current full-time student in good academic standing with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and have completed 15 credits at UCC. Student ambassadors receive a tuition waiver of up to 16 credits per term and work a regular schedule of 10 hours per week. An additional 2 hours of work per week may be scheduled for the purpose of supporting campus events that occur outside of the regular schedule.
