Occupational Skills Training

One-Year Certificate

The Occupational Skills Training (OST) one-year certificate program provides a combination of academic study and hands-on training. Students earn approximately half of their program credits through training at local business/agency sites.

The one-year certificate can be an educational pathway to other degrees. Credits earned in this program may be applied to AAS, AS, and AGS degree. The OST program by itself is not financial aid eligible but could be financial aid eligible if incorporated into a two-year degree. Occupational Skills Training is approved for disabled veterans, state vocational rehabilitation, and workers’ compensation clients. See an advisor about financial aid eligibility.
