Accessibility Services is seeking a work-study to answer phones, take messages, maintain program files, accurate data entry is important, create and distribute program flyers, make phone calls as directed, and other duties as assigned.
The Accounting & Bookkeeping Assistant will provide entry-level support to the Business Services/Accounting team by assisting with routine bookkeeping and financial record maintenance. This position is well-suited for a Federal Work-Study student interested in accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields, and offers meaningful exposure to real-world financial operations within a public higher education institution.
The Ceramic lab aid helps in all aspects of running a ceramic classroom. This includes making glazes, engoves, slips, loading and unloading kilns, recycling clay, general cleanup, and other duties as assigned.

The work-study would create “How To” instructions for equipment, organize lab equipment and electrical components, and other duties as assigned.
The Financial Aid office is seeking work-studies to assist with various duties which include but are not limited to assisting students at the front counter, answering phones and returning student calls regarding financial aid, document imaging and indexing, running errands on campus as needed, and other duties as assigned.
UCC Foundation Support role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit operations within a higher education setting. This position supports administrative tasks, donor communications, events, and digital content efforts that advance fundraising and community engagement initiatives. Students will build valuable skills in communication, organization, and professional tools such as Canva and Microsoft Office, while contributing to work that directly supports student success.
The Friendly Kitchen Helper will assist the head chef and kitchen assistant with all aspects of the Meals on Wheels and UCC café activities. Duties include food preparation, cooking grill items, cashiering, and dishwashing. Flexible hours Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3 pm.
The Gallery Assistant is needed to be available while the gallery is open. The Assistant will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, assisting with greeting and directing the general public, help at the art receptions occurring twice each term, and keeping the gallery clean and organized. Good customer service skills are essential. The qualified work-study student should also be dependable, punctual, and organized. They should also be able to interact with the public and give directions. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word is helpful.
The Information Technology team is looking for work-studies to assist in the building of PC’s and other devices for our PC Technicians. This position may assist faculty and staff with computer issues, creation of documentation of various procedures, and other duties as assigned.
Work-Study students are needed to assist with the Information Desk. Assistant will answer the main telephone line for the campus, assist students and visitors with navigation around the College, departments, programs, and resources. Will assist with planning and organizing student activities, giving campus tours, assist with any requests for administrative tasks such as typing, filing, copying, collating etc. from various Student Services Departments, as well as any other duties assigned.
Nursing Department is seeking students to maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursing skills lab. Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to setup and tear down equipment and supplies for lab classes and simulations, restock supplies and ensure inventory is up to date, disinfect manikins, beds, and medical equipment after use, assist instructors with preparation of demonstration materials.

The Registration and Records office is seeking a work-study eligible student to assist with various office duties which include, but are not limited to, scanning and indexing FERPA related student documents, answering phone calls, responding to emails, assisting front desk staff members as needed, and other duties as assigned. Eligible candidate needs to be able to work independently, willing to learn and ask questions, work with confidential information, flexible schedule per term but must show up for work when scheduled or notify staff with sufficient notice.

The Theatre Department is looking for an assistant to help build up the Theater Arts activities through efforts such as, but not limited to, fundraising letters, snack bar coordinator, technical coordinator for lights and sound, costume coordinator, advertising coordinator, set coordinator for building and painting, props acquisition for plays, box office coordinator.
Work-study student is sought to assist with tool crib to check in & out tools and PPE (personal protective equipment) to welding students, and other duties as assigned.
TRIO peer navigators are essential to the day-to-day operations of the TRIO SSS program. Peer navigators are student facing and frontline workers that help fellow students with tasks such as: making appointments with TRIO advisors or other campus personnel, aiding students with banner, helping students reset their passwords, guiding students through Canvas and other online platforms, study skills tutoring, phone reception, cleaning study pod and tables, and any other assigned tasks by the director or program coordinator.
Do you enjoy teaching and helping others learn? A tutor is needed to provide individual attention to learners’ needs, establish a good rapport, plan lessons and activities for learning basic math and reading skills, and GED test preparation. The tutor will keep detailed progress records and provide reports about the progress, and maintain contact with the Project Literacy Program Coordinator. Referrals to the learner’s ILS for needs other than tutoring may be appropriate.
Peer Tutors will assist in building up student skills to encourage successful lifelong learning. Essential job functions include but are not limited to: tutor individuals and small groups in specific course work, provide personal support and encouragement for students as needed, build skills essential for being a successful college student, regular attendance necessary, attend scheduled tutor training sessions, and keep the tutoring area clean and organized.
A Work-Study is needed to assist with basic cleaning services at the assigned venue. Duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, wiping down counters, doors, windows and animal cages, and emptying the trash. Cleaning and stocking supply areas and bathrooms including vents.
