Third and final distribution of CRRSAA funds
On November 4th, emails were sent to 1,479 students registered for Fall term advising that the remainder of CRRSAA funds, a limited balance, would be distributed via an application process for students who were experiencing a financial need and had been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The email advised students that funds would be distributed to eligible students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to the limited amount of funding and a large number of applications received, the application process closed at the end of the day on November 4, 2021.

Second distribution of CRRSAA funds
On July 20 emails were sent to students registered for Summer term advising that the remainder of CRRSAA funds would be distributed via an application process.

A balance of $7,277 was carried forward to Fall term.
First Distribution of CRRSAA Funds
Umpqua Community College (UCC) signed and submitted to the U.S. Department of Education the Certification and Agreement required to access the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds under Cares Act on April 13, 2020 and received CRRSAA HEERF II grant award automatically.
The total amount of funds that UCC has received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students is:
Funds are being distributed based on need using a student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by their 20/21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Additional funds are also being made available to dual enrolled students, GED students and merit award students who have not completed the FAFSA.
