“As a former Douglas County student myself, I was so thankful to be involved in a TRIO program. I am an Upward Bound alumni and with their assistance I found the TRIO program at my university. The Student Enrichment Program was so helpful during my time at Western Oregon University. I was a first generation college student and TRIO helped pave the way to my degree. Now as an ETS advisor, I am so pleased to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and assist the youth of Douglas County. There is so much potential and I look forward to helping prepare the students for the transition from high school into post-secondary education.”
