UCC Community & Workforce Training
Part-Time and Non-Credit Instructors

Do you have have a skill or interest to share? UCC Community & Workforce Training believes that learning is a rewarding experience that is best in an informal, supportive, environment. Opportunities exist to teach on the UCC campus, in Roseburg, in outlying communities, or online.

The ideal instructors combine an interest in serving the community with a desire to supplement their existing income. Although our compensation is competitive with other continuing education programs, it must be understood that it cannot be regarded as primary employment. We do not offer full-time employment to our instructors, and teaching for us is not a route to full-time employment with our program. We are very interested in developing long-term relationships with successful instructors.

We are looking for qualified instructors to teach part-time, non credit courses in the following areas:

Arts & Crafts
Professional Development
Computers & Software
CPR & First Aid
Fitness & Health
Home & Garden
Continuing Education

Language & Writing
Recreation & Dance
Driver Education
Personal Enrichment
Online Courses
Youth & Family

To apply, you must submit the Course Proposal Form* and Instructor Information Form. It must be clear from your form what topic(s) you would like to teach.

Be aware that reviewing Course Proposal Forms takes several weeks to process. Community & Workforce Training staff members usually work two terms ahead of the current term. If our coordinating staff determines your proposal can be a viable class, they will notify you.
