You can help Douglas County Entrepreneurs succeed!

Your generous, tax-deductible gift to UCC’s Small Business Development Center Entrepreneur Support Fund helps qualified entrepreneurs attend select SBDC Continuing Education programs by defraying a portion of the expenses related to the programs and workshops. Training defrayments exists for programs such as Small Business Management, QuickBooks Instruction™ and Startup Weekend.

By giving to the UCC SBDC you will support the only statewide, nationally accredited program that provides high quality one-on-one consulting, training and information resources to empower new and existing businesses. The Entrepreneur Support Fund helps fulfill our SBDC mission to improve the economic well-being of the community through educational services to small businesses that result in enhanced job growth and wealth creation.

Entrepreneur Support Projects

Scholarships for various programs and the development of new workshops and trainings that are requested by our business community.

Startup Weekend

Part of a global network that creates weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if start-up ideas are viable. Starting with an open mic pitch on Friday and attendees validate and build their ideas through the weekend with a final demo to a panel of experts. You can join the fun but being a judge, participant, coach, or a spectator at the final demonstrations.
