Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Computer Information Systems: Cybersecurity program will prepare you for a job in to succeed in one of the fastest-growing industries.

Get hands-on training in ethical hacking, computer hardware, computer forensics and security operations, cloud services, virtualization, switches, and routers. You will learn to program in a high-level programming language and apply programming concepts in a variety of environments.

Become proficient as a user and manager of server and desktop operating systems, switches, routers, and database systems. Develop your critical thinking skills along with verbal and written communication skills.

UCC is an authorized Cisco Networking Academy, EC-Council Academia Partner, Palo Alto Networks Academy, and VMware Academy.

The Cybersecurity degree program also benefits from a partnership with Mount Hood Community College, which is recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE-2Y).

The Cybersecurity degree instructional team will work to attain its own CAE-2Y designation as they gather the data required to meet its requirements.

Industry Certification

Several UCC courses are taught so that you can become Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council, or Microsoft certified. Please consult with your faculty advisor to discuss which certifications are currently mapped to UCC courses.

UCC is a Pearson Vue and Prometric testing center. You can take most industry certification exams on campus. Please contact the UCC Testing Center at 541-440-4610 for testing information.
