Student Ambassador (Work Study)

The Student Ambassador serves as a representative of the college, supporting recruitment efforts by providing campus tours and assisting with on-campus and off-campus events. This role is ideal for a friendly, reliable, and motivated student who enjoys engaging with prospective students and their families while promoting a positive and welcoming campus experience.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Assistant

The Accounting & Bookkeeping Assistant will provide entry-level support to the Business Services/Accounting team by assisting with routine bookkeeping and financial record maintenance. This position is well-suited for a Federal Work-Study student interested in accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields, and offers meaningful exposure to real-world financial operations within a public higher education institution.

Communications & Marketing Support

The Communications & Marketing Support position offers students hands-on experience in graphic design, digital content creation, and higher-education marketing. In this role, students support visual and social media projects, assist with website updates, and help maintain brand consistency across print and digital platforms.

Foundation Support

UCC Foundation Support role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit operations within a higher education setting. This position supports administrative tasks, donor communications, events, and digital content efforts that advance fundraising and community engagement initiatives. Students will build valuable skills in communication, organization, and professional tools such as Canva and Microsoft Office, while contributing to work that directly supports student success.

Gallery Assistant (FA-SP) (2)

The Gallery Assistant is needed to be available while the gallery is open. The Assistant will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, assisting with greeting and directing the general public, help at the art receptions occurring twice each term, and keeping the gallery clean and organized. Good customer service skills are essential. The qualified work-study student should also be dependable, punctual, and organized. They should also be able to interact with the public and give directions. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word is helpful.

TRIO Peer Navigator

TRIO peer navigators are essential to the day-to-day operations of the TRIO SSS program. Peer navigators are student facing and frontline workers that help fellow students with tasks such as: making appointments with TRIO advisors or other campus personnel, aiding students with banner, helping students reset their passwords, guiding students through Canvas and other online platforms, study skills tutoring, phone reception, cleaning study pod and tables, and any other assigned tasks by the director or program coordinator.

Lab Assistant

Nursing Department is seeking students to maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursing skills lab. Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to setup and tear down equipment and supplies for lab classes and simulations, restock supplies and ensure inventory is up to date, disinfect manikins, beds, and medical equipment after use, assist instructors with preparation of demonstration materials.

Ceramic Lab Aid

The Ceramic lab aid helps in all aspects of running a ceramic classroom. This includes making glazes, engoves, slips, loading and unloading kilns, recycling clay, general cleanup, and other duties as assigned.

Financial Aid Office Assistant

The Financial Aid office is seeking work-studies to assist with various duties which include but are not limited to assisting students at the front counter, answering phones and returning student calls regarding financial aid, document imaging and indexing, running errands on campus as needed, and other duties as assigned.
