"As a former Douglas County student myself, I was so thankful to be involved in a TRIO program. I am an Upward Bound alumni and with their assistance I found the TRIO program at my university. The Student Enrichment Program was so helpful during my time at Western Oregon University. I was a first generation college student and TRIO helped pave the way to my degree. Now as an ETS advisor, I am so pleased to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and assist the youth of Douglas County. There is so much potential and I look forward to helping prepare the students for the transition from high school into post-secondary education."

Upward Bound and Educational Talen Search are incredible programs that allow our students to explore their interests and provided them with opportunities they did might not have had before to help them get to college. I’m excited to serve our students in Douglas County and help them towards their future college goals."
