CTE Signing Day: Over 60 Students from Douglas County Committed to Career and Technical Education

ROSEBURG, Ore., April 10, 2025—Over 60 future college students from across Douglas County gathered with friends and family to celebrate as they signed letters of intent to become UCC Riverhawks and start a career pathway at the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day.

The ceremony, which took place in Jacoby Auditorium, included inspiring words from students and industry partners. It was part of the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) ‘s national signing day event, which is in the spirit of the NCAA’s Signing Day for college athletes.

Programs where students chose a career pathway and signed a letter of commitment included:
