Rogue Credit Union is expanding its support of Umpqua Community College’s efforts to create opportunities for students, families and residents throughout Douglas County through a new five-year partnership.
Established July 14, 2026, the partnership will support UCC’s new track and field facility and further the college’s work to provide welcoming spaces where students and community members can learn, compete, connect and thrive. The track will be recognized as the UCC Track & Field Complex Sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
The agreement builds on a long-standing relationship between the two organizations and reflects their shared commitment to education, student success, community well-being and expanding access to opportunities that improve quality of life throughout the region.
“Rogue Credit Union has been a valued partner to UCC and our students for many years,” said UCC President Rachel Pokrandt. “This expanded partnership reflects a shared investment in Douglas County. While the track will provide an outstanding venue for our student-athletes, its greatest impact will be felt across the community as a welcoming space for youth programs, local events, recreation and opportunities that bring people together for years to come. We are grateful for Rogue’s continued commitment to youth, families, and education.”
Rogue Credit Union’s support of UCC extends across the student experience. Its long-standing relationship with the college includes an on-campus student branch, classroom-based financial education and a co-branded student debit card discount program. Rogue has also supported UCC Athletics through game-day activities and promotional giveaways and has been a consistent sponsor of the UCC Foundation’s annual Legacy Ball.
The expanded partnership will help UCC establish a community asset that serves far more than collegiate athletics. The new facility will offer opportunities for K-12 competitions, youth programming, community recreation, campus events and regional gatherings, helping residents of all ages stay active, build connections and celebrate together.
“Rogue Credit Union is proud to expand our partnership with Umpqua Community College,” said President/CEO Matt Stephenson. “Supporting the UCC Track aligns with our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. We’re excited to help create a space that will inspire students, welcome families and provide opportunities for people throughout Douglas County to gather, compete and stay active.”
UCC will celebrate the grand opening of the track and field facility on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026. The celebration will feature activities for all ages, a community ribbon-cutting ceremony and opportunities for visitors to experience the new facility firsthand. Additional event details will be announced soon.
