Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship Program

Amount: $2000.00

UCC Deadline: March 30, 2018

Grainger application form.
Letter of recommendation from professor, teacher or advisor.
Transcript demonstrating GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale and full-time enrollment status

     (12 credit hrs. min.).                                                  
200-300 words on why you chose to study skilled trades/public safety/supply chain, how your
    achievements and/or leadership roles have helped you grow individually and your future career goals.
A list of clubs, activities, accomplishments, leadership roles held and years involved, including those

    related to your field of study or military job experience.                                                                                                Open to students who will be attending their final year of study in 2018-19.

UW, TheDream.US announce new scholarship partnership to benefit undocumented students

Amount: Tuition and fees up to a maximum of $7,250 per year, renewable for up to two years, with a maximum award of $14,500.

UCC Deadline: March 1, 2018.

Eligibility: The University of Washington and TheDream.US announced a new partnership this week that will provide scholarships to qualified undocumented students who graduate from two-year colleges and transfer to the UW.

The Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship

Amount: $1000.00

UCC Deadline: June 30, 2018

Eligibility: Given to a student pursuing a health-related degree program. Areas of study that will be considered include, but are not limited to, counseling, social work, emergency medicine, pre-med, nursing, psychology (with a focus on addiction counseling or a substance-abuse related field). Applicants must submit an essay no more than 500 words describing why they are passionate about health care, with a focus on substance abuse and mental health. Essays can draw from personal or professional experience.

Eligibility: Oregon residents studying for a teaching degree at an Oregon public university or college. Oregon community colleges which transfer credit in education to an Oregon four-year public institution also qualify.

Karman Healthcare Mobility Disability Scholarship

Amount: $500.00

UCC Deadline: September 1st 2018

Eligibility: 

This scholarship applies to students who have a mobility disability, excelled academically and those who have a regard for disability awareness in America.

Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college, or university in the U.S.

Aged sixteen (16) years or older.

Open to all college, and university students with a mobility disability who use a wheelchair, or other mobility devices on a regular basis.

Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 (or equivalent)

Statement or transcript of your Grade Point Average (GPA) – unofficial transcripts accepted.

Completed application via email attached as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.

Submit an essay answering this year’s theme. If you are mailing in your submission, please use standard size 8.5 in. x 11 in. paper to submit your entry. If you are sending your essay via email, it must be typed and saved as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.

Karl Jobst Scholarship

Eligibility: High school students graduating this calendar year, and have been accepted into a college, or university in the USA.                                                                                                                                                          Students currently enrolled in a college or university, and not having reached their senior year.                                 All applicants must be a U.S. citizen from the 50 states or the District of Columbia.                                                   To be eligible, each applicant will be asked to submit a short essay discussing your strengths and unique traits and how they will help you in the future.

Eligibility: High school students graduating in 2017 and have been accepted into a college, university, trade school, community college or design school.
 Students currently enrolled in a college, university, trade school, community college or design school.

Application Instructions:  Answer this question, “How you have demonstrated leadership ability both in and out of school?” Your answer should be under 500 words for this short essay. Southern Oregon Viticulture & Enology Scholarship - New!

Amount: Up to $2000

Deadline: Continuous

The Southern Oregon   Viticulture and Enology Scholarship is an Employer Match scholarship is   available for employees, including owners, of Oregon Vineyards/Wineries/Tasting   Rooms. The ERATH Family Foundation (EFF) established this scholarship to   increase the number of personnel in Southern Oregon leadership roles who have   a fundamental education in V&E.
Through a generous donation   by the EFF, vineyards and wineries can support and encourage their employees   to attend the Southern Oregon Wine Institute at Umpqua Community College by   matching up to $2,000 per academic year per student/employee, for a total of   up to $4,000 per academic year per student/employee.
