Student Engagement connects students with opportunities to enhance their campus experience through being a part of student leadership, activities, and clubs. It supports the creation of new clubs and provides resources for existing ones. Participate in experiential learning opportunities and apply your classroom knowledge in real-world settings, fostering personal growth. Learn leadership skills, build community, and collaborate with faculty and staff on campus.
At UCC, students can become frontline assistants and engagement personnel, helping students and guests navigate campus, offices, departments, services and events. The Umpqua Student Leaders (USL) are student employees that plan and organize student events and activities, help connect students to resources, and encourage peers to be actively engaged with the College. All enrolled students can participate in USL meetings and activities. This group supports the formation of clubs, organizes events, and provides student services.
