Compliance Information

There are many federal, state and local laws and regulations that Umpqua Community College must follow. A robust compliance program helps our campus enjoy a healthy, safe campus environment while fair, equitable and inclusive employment practices lend to a positive campus climate. Knowledge of policies and procedures helps our campus community navigate our responsibilities as engaged members.

Training

Every year UCC employees complete mandatory training to meet federal, state and accreditation requirements. But compliance goes beyond checking a box at UCC. Here’s a quick list of why these trainings are important:
