Want to attend a university? We'll help get you there. We have transfer programs that allow you to save some money, build your study skills, and help you start as a junior in the Oregon university system or almost any university you would like to attend. So you can start college as a UCC Riverhawk and finish as an OSU Beaver, SOU Raider, UO Duck, or whatever you like! Many remote and online class options options are available.
Looking for a career? UCC is your path to a career. We have career technical programs in the right industries that need workers: Automotive, Business Administration, Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Technician, Engineering, Forestry, Fire Science, Nursing, Welding, and more - subject to health and safety restrictions and guidelines.
Additionally, for hands-on learners, we have apprenticeship programs that allow you to mix classroom and on-the-job training. Many of these jobs are high-wage skilled positions like electrician, millwright, and industrial mechanic. These classes will be available subject to health and safety restrictions.
A majority of UCC classes will be delivered remote or online. Distance Learning programs allow you to do ALL of your studies online. Considering the pandemic, UCC is making it a priority to deliver quality remote and online classes to support all types of learners. Of course, in-person classes will become more available over time as health and safety guidelines permit.
Our faculty is second to none. In fact, 53 out of 63 full-time faculty (84%) hold 39 Master's degrees and 14 Ph.D. degrees. They are highly-qualified experts in their fields and they care about teaching. No doubt you care about learning. So, we are a winning combination! Take a look at just a small sampling of our distinguished faculty.
When you step on to the UCC campus, you get a sense of the beauty of Oregon. Plus, many of our teaching areas are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to make learning easier and more engaging. During the pandemic, UCC is depending more on technology than ever before in order to deliver an experience comparable to in-person classes. In-person classes are available but subject to health and safety guidelines. They will continue to be offered more as we come out of the pandemic.
We are serious about education. That means we work hard and we play even harder. Our campus has a lot of fun things to do. Of course, as we come out of the pandemic, we will be able to open them up gradually for students, employees and the public.
