Hiring Position: Box Office Assistant

Job Description:
The Box Office Assistant will help with box office duties and/or house manager duties for the run of a show. Tasks may include but are not limited to:  assist with presales marketing materials, set up and take down portable box office in the lobby before and after shows, print tickets, process payments and donations, and assist patrons for theatre shows.  Help run concessions at intermissions as needed, monitor cash flow, make and file reports, keep updated notes on Box Office transactions, and train other volunteers as needed.

Qualifications for this work-study position include great customer service, being computer-savvy, ability to problem solve and multi-task.  Must be able to type fast, understand basic accounting skills, reliable for weekends and/or evenings, be motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.  Familiarity with Constant Contact and graphic design or basic marketing skills are a plus.  Must have a background check.
