Job Description:
The Studio and Gallery Assistant will help set up studios for classes, inventory and track supplies, assist with unpacking, installation, and packing up of art gallery exhibits. The Assistant would also set gallery lights, make tags, check condition of artworks in permanent collection each term. Other duties may include, but are not limited to, copying, shredding, and cleaning.
Qualified work-study students should be dependable and show up to work when scheduled, independent and able to work without supervision but know when to ask for assistance and clarification. Accurate and able to measure using a tape measure or other implements, have good basic math skills, and ability to use small tools or be willing to learn.
