The “Spirit of Umpqua” Hall of Fame Award honors persons who have made significant contributions to Umpqua Community College through their actions, talents, dedication, and/or financial support. Their accomplishments advance the College, contribute to the common good, and inspire others to lead a life of service and educational advocacy. This award is given every five years (in years ending in “4” and “9” to commemorate our founding in 1964).
Inductees can be nominated by a UCC employee or a Board of Education member and are selected based upon the following criteria:
