UCC Receives $1.5M Grant for Disadvantaged High School Students in Douglas County

Local high school students enjoying a mealROSEBURG, Ore., June 3, 2022 – Umpqua Community College’s Upward Bound program has secured funding for another five years to continue its vital outreach work targeting 65 area high school students. Total grant funds of $1,562,400 will be distributed annually in the amount of $312,480. This amount is up 14% from the previous grant award annual distribution of $270,375.
