What if I need help learning Canvas?
If you are on-campus, come to one of the orientations at the beginning of each term. If we have one coming up, you will see an information box with times and dates on our website. If you can't make it to a scheduled orientation, you can reach us using the options in the HELP WITH CANVAS box at the bottom of the page and we'll schedule a one-on-one orientation with you.
If you are off-campus, you can choose from several options to get started.
- If you learn best by watching short videos, the individual Canvas Video Guides are great! We have compiled a few of the most beneficial ones into a self-paced tutorial "Getting Started in Canvas."
- If you learn best by reading at your own pace, the topic-based Quickstart Guides are your best bet.
- If you learn best from one-on-one training, we can arrange a virtual orientation. Send an email to UCCOnline and let us know how to best contact you and what times/days work for you.
- For General help with Canvas or other topics, you can also use one of the help options available in the boxes at the bottom of the page.
